"Very poorly managed. The washing machine was broken for most of our stay and we had to carry our laundry to a laundromat to get it done. I asked the owner/property manager at least 5 times to change the towels after we had been using them for a week! Only after I got angry with him, the towels finally arrived. The apartment is poorly furnished. Broken taped up side tables, non functioning plug sockets, one remote that needed to be used for two air conditioners, filthy floor mattresses and quilts...

"A comfortable 3-star level property in a great location in KL. Simply furnished rooms but a great choice at this price point. Our friends room was of similar quality but there is some variation between rooms. Our TV was internet only, theirs picked-up TV stations. Pool area and gym were pleasant additions. Close to major eat street, Jalan Alor, and walking distance to several shopping centres."

"We weren’t happy the first couple of days as the toilet in our room was leaking. After a few days of complaining, we finally was moved to a much nicer and bigger room. Overall, the rooms are ok, not very clean, had cockroaches in the rooms and dusty. We could hear the traffic noise too from the 11th floor. The staff are nice and friendly though and service is not too bad. Overall, I think it’s pleasant enough. "

"All staff and guards are well mannered. Fast replies, attend to customers need. Well-done!!! If possible, perhaps can get a new sofa set. Do not refund them if there are water stains and all.. cleanliness need improvements. Overall i am happy."

"Property location was excellent and facilities were good. However, this was offset by sleepless nights due to horrific traffic noises that could be heard even on the 33rd FL! 33A above us were also inconsiderate people rearranging furtniture and crashing about at 2AM in the morning. Additionally the owner of 33-03 gave us a defective TV and did not change it even after our complaints. Property maybe good value with a good location but save yourself the headache and go elsewhere. "The check in experience is very poor. Keeping you waiting when you arrive with having no real queue system. The walls are wafer thin. Could hear the people next door who were having sex for hours very loudly."

"Star Suites is a modern, new and clean apartment in a high rise building within 8-10 min walk to the Petronas Towers and mall. "Loved the hotel. Very spacious and the staff is very friendly too. They even allowed slightly late checkout. Too bad I forgot to ask for a VIP Room Upgrade. Nevertheless highly recommended"

"Reservation team was quick in tacking the booking mistake made through Expedia and even had a little surprise for our honeymoon. All staff were friendly and helpful, buggy service to the mall was extremely convenient and save lots of walking. Skybar was an interesting experience and the view is top notch. Will be back again wherever we’re visiting KL"

"Our stay at the Shangri-La Hotel in Kuala Lumpur was simply outstanding. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm, attentive service that set the tone for an indulgent experience. The rooms were beautifully appointed, offering lovely views of the city, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The breakfast buffet was a true highlight, with an impressive array of high-quality dishes from around the world, prepared to perfection. The spa and pool provided a tranquil escape, ideal for unwinding after a day out in the city. The only slight improvement could be the addition of a bar serving cocktails by the pool. Aside from that, everything was spot on. A superb experience, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious stay in Kuala Lumpur!"
