"Property was great. It was cute and clean and we loved the rooftop patio and free happy hour. The restaurant was ok but expensive and food wasn’t that great for the price. The area wasn’t our favorite but only because we were there with two young kids to go explore the national parks and the immediate area really had nothing to do as a family other than the beach. "

"The Avalon Hotel was a good choice for our 3 night warm getaway from the winter. Comparing similar options, this was likely a great option. There was self-serve coffee in the mornings which we appreciated. A few things I noticed that I wish were different: sound - In the mornings and evenings we could hear every door on our floor shut (the door closing sound is loud). This is not make/break on its own, of course. Second, with check in at 4 and check out at 11, you might expect your room to be...

"Great Location for Miami Beach staff were really friendly however just be aware it is a budget hotel so general room conditions are basic however the walls are thick so could not hear any other guests during my stay would stay again "

"I had been traveling all morning..no sleep. Got to the hotel and i was taken care of. Carlos was outstanding in customer service and welcoming me to the hotel. I was able to get some rest. Ill be staying again!"

"This hotel went above and beyond to accommodate our family . The valet was so smooth and fast and very courteous. I loved the dj at the bar on Saturday the best part on this stay I had to bring the kiddos and we were able to enjoy some drinks . My little one enjoyed getting ice cream at the cafe and the special treats they have throughout the day when we didn’t have time to eat at the restaurant while heading out for the beach . I enjoyed how close this was to all the popular spots. Just walk out and you have access to lots of dining , bars and shopping . "
