Property is very outdated room wise.has issues opening our room door it took about 5minutes every single time we left and came back and used our key . It was like a quick clean up . The mattress was bad looking , mold and mildew in bathroom shower , the shower door didn’t stop water from getting all on bathroom floor so ended up using a bunch of towels just to wipe the whole bathroom floor. stains all over couch that I didn’t even sit on and rug in room was dirty . The balcony furniture out dated . However the out door area with the pool and bar and restaurants is a nice view. Food pricey with very little selection. Left my stay early to stay at another hotel. Not worth the price when you can stay some place for the same price that takes proper care of the actual rooms and not just the outside .

Very pleasant stay. Well situated. Staff very nice. Suite was a good size. My only negative comment is that we found the suite and the hotel temperature really cold and the thermostats in the suites did not work very well despite bringing the staff in to help adjust them. Overall, a very nice hotel in a great location and enjoyed it.

The property is not super clean, we had to follow up for 2 hours one day for the housekeeping. The property is very noisy, whole day it was very noisy and even during late nights. I had to call one night as there were loud noises coming from upstairs.

The pool and entire outdoor area, which is the whole point of the hotel, is completely closed after 6pm. Defeats the point of the hotel. Management claims that they are "just following Miami Beach law, but this isn't true. Apparently, since the hotel is located in a residential area, the residents in the area sued the hotel and they can no longer have anyone outside on the pool or large lounging area facing the beautiful bay after 6pm. As such, there is no where outside to sit!! But you're in Miami where the whole point it to enjoy being outside. I went to Hotel One - pool area is open past 8pm. Setai is 24 hours a day! It's unfortunate that the Mondrian can't have their outdoor area open, but that shouldn't be guests' problem. Also, the rooms are worn out. Stains in the bathroom, floors that are gross, couch that is worn, drapes with stains. They need a remodel but probably aren't because they won't get a return on investment now that their hotel is uncompetitive due to the pool situation
