"Took an Expedia booking to get our 3rd night when desk said no vacancy. Check in at 3 but room was not ready until 4. "The whole place was very quiet, the bathroom was exceptionally clean as well as the rest of the property. The included breakfast is local food, mostly vegetarian. We like this but if you have to have cereal or other western food this isn't the place for you. Parking is easy too, something that is not common in Taiwan, especially in resort areas."

"Service is excellent- staff are friendly and helpful. Room is quite spacious. Breakfast is basic, as in most minsu. Hotel is rather old and bedroom floor is rather dusty. No hand soap or hand towels provided. Location is right next to the Ita Thaoqlake and just 3 minutes walk to old street and pier. Room rates pricey considering the condition of the room and facilities."

"The deluxe quadruple room, with lake view, is spacious and clean. The bathroom is fitted with Japanese toilet with bidet functions, adjustable settings for water pressure and a heated seat. Wonderful

"Staying here was a wonderful experience that we will not forget! The location, food, and amenities were of course stellar, and our room with the balcony-side private onsen tub was luxurious. What stood our most, however, was the service. Staff was attentive and kind to the highest degree. For example, with only 1 hour notice, I called the front desk to help surprise my partner for her birthday with a treat in our room upon our pending return for the evening. Within an hour, they had set up an extravagant birthday display and a wine bottle with glasses. It made our trip even more special and I am grateful! Additionally, as English speakers, we had no problem with the language barrier and found that most staff spoke proficient English."

"We really enjoyed our 3nights at Top Cloud Villa. The premise is serene; give us a sense of calmness and tranquility compare to our busy city life. Morning breakfast was charming and wholesome. We enjoy our daily walk enjoying the cool breeze the morning and evening sunset above the clouds. Staff was friendly and always eager to assist with any enquiries anytime. We might visit again!
