"Spacious room, comfortable bed, service is ok. Breakfast spread was great. Free parking available. Do take note that hotel charges ¥900 per room for bathing tax, apparently for usage of public bath (onsen), even though we did not use it at all during our 3 nights stay. Hotel staff explained that this bathing tax will be charged regardless of usage. This is not logic, in my point of view. Mecure management (being a big hotel chain) should look into a managing system to only charge this tax for...

"Chisun Grand Nagano was a great place to stay for our one night in Nagano. The rooms were relatively spacious for Japan hotels and very clean and comfortable. The room even has a massage chair!!! The staff was very helpful with checking in, storing luggage, and shipping luggage to our next stop. The only complaint I’d have about the hotel is the train station is pretty loud and can be heard in the hotel room - but sometimes a lil ambient noise is nice! "

"It was our first time to this area, we chose Ryuoo upon recommendation from a Japanese friend. Very nice Western-style hotel at Ryuoo ski resort.
