"We really looked forward to staying at the Zanzibar Queen given other reviews. It didnt disappoint. Fantastic location in beautifully kept grounds. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. The pool area was clean and enticing. There was also boules, volleyball and badminton available to keep the body exercised. As well as table tennis and darts. The restaurant was superb. Ingredients and dishes were varied and akin to fine dining. Resort felt very private although effectively right on the beach....

"Wow, wow wow!!!!!! Honestly, if I can give this place 10 out of 10 I would .This hotel was beyond my expectations. The staff went beyond and above the cleanliness of the room was top-notch. The food was to die for I am in Boston craving it currently. For anyone traveling to Zanzibar this is the place you have to go to. Beach is walking distance so it’s super convenient. The staff is rude, and they stole my sunglasses that I left in the hotel lobby. The Italian manager claimed that cameras were not working and that they were only able to see the recordings from Stone Town where is situated their headquarter. "The staff was not prepared and was overwhelmed by the amount of guests. It should not take an hour to get a glass of juice or wanting to request a meal from room service and being told that there is a buffet that night and finally get a plate of spaghetti 2 hours later. There were not enough beach towels for all the guests (I had my own), not enough lounge chairs and they really need to put umbrellas on the patio.
