Living with no furniture, strictly a bed on the floor. Not easy to get out of the bed. Missing wash cloths, No WINDOWS! WIFI only for technology. All belongings had to be scattered on hard tile floor. Unable to cool the room for a quality sleep temperature.

Pleasant stay. A little getting use to with the minimal experience. Fairly clean. House keeping didn't do a good clean during the stay. But it was our stuff.

The rooms are nothing more than a bed and small bathroom. It is only one step up from a dorm room or hostel. They do not service the rooms. They state they clean the rooms once every 4 days, but they didn't even clean our room on the 4th day by the time we came back at 7 pm. We discussed with the manager and he only made excuses (ie, we have 720 rooms in the hotel and cleanings happen at all hours of the day and night, etc). Well, if there are 720 rooms and your are only cleaning a room every four days, then this is only 180 rooms per day. The philosophy of this hotel is to be cheap and not do anything to enhance the guests' experience (ie, no coffee or water in the rooms, mattress is basically on the floor, bathrooms do not have proper doors).

Best price for the location. Beds aren’t the best and people were noisy late at night coming through the hallways, but the rooms were fine and most things were a short walk from the hotel.

Our room smelled like sewage and our bathroom had not been cleaned. The sink was dirty with tooth paste and there was black hair on the walls of our shower that did not belong to us because we hadn't showered yet. It's a great location, but for as bare minimum as the room is (no tv), and with the lack of amenities it should at least be clean and not smell like sewage from the drain. We only slept there, so we did not even bother to complain because some of the staff was unfriendly.

The hotel is in the middle of Picadilly Circus, closer to a subway station and to different options of restaurants. Negative: Windowless bedroom, really small, no mini bar, no ice maker in the hallway and AC wasn't going under 20C. Positive: Good cafe on the basement, good bar on the 1st floor and in the center of all good things of the city.

The staff were incredible! They immediately did what was within their ability to address any issues. The room was minimal but it still verr comfortable, pristinely clean and perfect for my needs. My main complaint Zedwell had nothing to do with the service and people, but the way the rooms were constructed: the website advertised the rooms as being a quiet getaway with soundproof rooms. Unfortunately the room was NOT completely soundproof, and I could Hear music/bass beats til 2 am. The shower also allowed water to go everywhere in the bathroom, presenting a very dangerous situation if someone were to slip and bash their heads. The shower situation in particular was alarming, and there should be more amenities to prevent water from Creating a slipping hazard.

I kinda got lost finding the place, but after running around I found the hotel. When entering to the hotel, it looked very nice. Once you go up to your room is like a maze. Once I was in my room I noticed that there was still shaved hairs on the sink and hair on the pillow. There’s no TV, there’s no hair dryer is super simple. The check out is at 4pm and you have to leave at 10am, is like they kick you out, I wouldn’t recommend this place, I booked because of location and looks on the pictures BUT don’t make this mistake please

Always like staying at the Zedwell as it’s convenient to our needs. The room is stark in design yet comfortable in its simplicity with a showroom, toilet, sink and bed. It’s situated in the heart of Theatreland which is reflected in the price. £40 charge for early check-in is a little excessive as its sister hotel in Greenwich is only £15. Ordinary check-in times is after the matinee shows begin. So you’re paying for bag storage or early check-in if you’re seeing an afternoon show. A little cunning on their part. When I enquired about the prices, the concierge described it as what people expect for the area. I would say, do the unexpected and go that extra mile for your patrons. That being said, we often stay here when visiting London. We just have to be a little cunning too so it doesn’t reflect too heavily on our expenditure.

Terrible. Please don’t stay here. I booked a room before a meeting in London for work; the website promised sound proof rooms and a great nights sleep. My room backed onto a nightclub and I was kept awake until 3am from the thudding of the base and loudness of the music. Reception wouldn’t help and just offered me ear plugs. They promised me a refund but 6 weeks later I still haven’t had it and I don’t think I will get it. Totally awful experience and the website should be banned for misleading advertising - how can it talk about silence/ no distractions/ no televisions or phones/ no illuminated light switches and yet back onto a nightclub.
