We stay for 7 nights, we like the location. the rooms are small, there is not enough closet space for your clothing, no telephone in the room you need to communicate via what's up, not enough towels and soaps in the room. and often you need to ask for room services. We would not return back to stay in this Hotel.

I liked that the property included a full kitchen in the room; however, the bathroom did not have enough places to hang towels and the shower had a small amount of mold. Overall, the property met our needs. And the staff was super friendly and always willing to help!

From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was nothing short of perfect. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and accommodating, making me feel truly spoiled. My hotel suite was a luxurious retreat, offering every comfort I could ask for, and it was impeccably maintained throughout my stay. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect, from the thoughtful amenities to the immaculate cleanliness. The location of the hotel is absolutely ideal—right in the heart of London, making it easy to explore all the city has to offer. I couldn't have asked for a better base for my adventures. Without a doubt, I will be returning to the Marlin Waterloo for all my future visits to London. The combination of outstanding service, comfort, and location makes it a top choice for any traveler. While this property could have had a 4 or 5 star review, the fact that I hardly got any sleep ruined the trip. Marlin turns the AC off at 2:00 in the morning as well as two other times. So while sleep is good the first few hours you wake up sweating and it takes a while to cool the room again. Opening the window exposes you to the metal on metal grinding noise of the nearby train which runs often. If not that it is street noise etc. Why on earth they would shut the air conditioner off in the middle of the night is beyond me. Would not stay there again for this reason.

Having a kitchenette is wonderful! The cups and things seemed dirty, but there was a dishwasher, so we were able to wash everything before use. It's also located right next to a metro station, as well as a PRET, so coffee right down stairs! Also very close to attractions and food options. Clean, neat, & modern. Loved it all!

I had a bad experience where someone was able to open the door to my room while I was inside. The explanation from staff was that it was another guest, which should not be possible if the access control system is programmed correctly, and the response to this situation by staff was insufficient in my opinion, as it seemed to indicate no further action on the part of the staff. There was also no follow up with me to report resolution of the situation or any correction of issues that led to the unpleasant event.
