Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
The KPH is good for a 1-2 night stay only, IMO. My partner and I booked for 6 nights and ended up moving rooms 3 times trying to get a better room because the first room was in the basement, which we didn't like. Positives: staff are very nice, friendly, and accommodating; very clean; nicely appointed interiors; comfortable beds with decent bed linens; lots of hot water and good water pressure; in-house breakfast was fine in a day-lit basement level dining room adjacent to the back garden; great walkable neighborhood close to shops and transit.
Negatives: biggest dislike are the shower stalls; 2 bathrooms had shower curtains and 1 did not; the shower curtains end about 6-8 inches above the floor and there is no barrier to contain the shower water, so it floods the tiled bathroom floor, unless you construct a barrier out of multiple towels. The light switches are difficult to use and don't work consistently.
Booked a "Deluxe Room, 1 King Bed", but did not feel I got what I paid for until we moved to the 3rd room, which was on the ground level (first level in U.S.). Watch out for being shoved in the basement!
