Travelled from Birmingham with my 2 young children, was supposed to be staying there for 2 nights but on arrival it was closed up. Waited 20 minutes and i then realised nobody was there. Stranded with 2 children no knowing where to go i headed off to look for somewhere to stay for the night. This made our whole experience horrible and very stressful. In the end i only ended up staying in london for 1 night and had to pay for another train ticket to get back home. I would never book with this hotel again.
Check in was quick and easy and the person was very friendly. The room was clean and tidy and had everything i needed or would have expected.
Unfortunately the window had been left open fully which meant the room was freezing and took a while to warm up on such a cold day

The service was ok in my room the toilet seat was broken shower head was glogged with limescale not much hot water my blanket was stained bed frame was flimsy and I didn’t like having to leave my hotel key at the desk when I went out my son ordered a continental breakfast and was given a boiled egg and cheese sticks not worth £200 for 2 nights

Weekend trip
It wasn't too bad. Only issues we had: no socket next to my bed so couldn't charge phone and using it in a same time while relaxing. 2bugs racing over my trainers :)
Excellent location for walking or underground. Loved the proximity from Hyde Park for down time!! Edgeware station allows EASY access to ALL the hussle and bussle London has to offer. Excellent breakfast!!
The staff at this hotel was very friendly. However the condition of the hotel is lacking. We booked a family room which consisted of one double bed and three single beds for the kids. Beds were adequate. Room was in the basement down a narrow staircase that was hard to get down especially with any type of luggage. There is a very small lift but it did not seem to have a button that would take you to the basement where our room was. There has to be one because I know the lift goes down there but it was not apparent which button it was. Since it was late and we wanted dinner by the time we arrived we just used the narrow staircase. This was not ideal with a large suitcase. The room itself had some peeling paint and was a bit rundown. The electric shut off briefly while we were there which had the girl at the desk running around trying to figure out how to turn it back on. There is a breakfast there but we had an early flight so we did not have breakfast there. We only stayed here one night at the end of our trip so we could be close to Paddington station. It was ok for one short night but I would not want to stay there for any length of time.
The pictures are misleading. Rooms are very small and not clean. The fan in the room had lots of dust. Bathrooms are small and water pressure very low. Light bulb don't work and has not been changed in a while. The staff is pleasant but the cleaning staff and the property manger needs to do a better job.

Great family vacation!!!!
The location was great - very easy to get around London. The room surprised us. It was very plain and very small. The beds are all that fit in the room. However, the employees were pleasant, and we weren't there to spend time in our room. The beds were very comfortable!
Ok, room not exactly large, great for love-birds or a single person (I had a queen room, I think). Nice design. Typical London-friendly staff. Not extremely central, but walkable.
I didn’t like any of it, disappointing!!!!! Gruby, broken mirrors, creepy crawlies, miss match furniture. Dangerous steps everywhere where little toes could get hurt on.
