"Great apartments with the basics you need to prepare meals, dishwasher and washing machine. Extra towels, hygiene and cleaning products was provided. Only thing that was an issue was quality and range of wifi network. Was only available close to entrance. But other than that . Amazing Service provided before our late arrival. "Fabulous little hotel. Our room very very quiet, lovely big towels, nice toiletries, very clean and friendly staff. We chose a room with a ‘courtyard’ view, this was a mistake. There was no courtyard, just a wall! However we didn’t mind this, we hated the huge outside blind which obscured the view of the wall, but also meant there was very little natural light in the room. Apart from this is was a perfect little hotel. "

"We had a great stay. Accommodation spot on and the breakfast was great. Didnt seem to be a good area to stay but was ok. Friendly reminders from local shop keepers to keep safe from pick pockets. Great for access to everywhere. We walked but plenty of buses. Would use again."

"This Axel is relatively new. The rooms are well designed, the shower is very stylish. Ivan and his staff do their best to give a good client experience. Ivan checked me in and was extremely charming. There was an issue with another guest and they put things right promptly. "This is a lovely boutique hotel. Friendly helpful staff and readily accessible to both, the old city and the newer city. Best of all, it was a 5 minute walk across a bridge from the our arrival train station. Note: for those with sensitive skin like me, I put a t-shirt over my pillow to stop the reaction from the scented detergent/dryer chemicals."

Excellent location and service. Highly recommended

"Very nice room. It was spacious with plenty of room to unpack and not feel cramped. It was a suite (Room 225) with a sitting area, bedroom and bathroom. It was perfect for our stay of a couple days. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. The hotel had everything that we could have wanted. We arrived rather early and we were lucky enough to be able to check in right away. This was amazing after a long day of travel to get to Bilboa. Friendly staff, spacious room and great service. We found it very easy to walk throughout the city to the attractions so the location was great as well. I would happily stay again. "
