This was my first time to Bilbao and Sercotel Ayala is a place I would return to in a heartbeat. Conveniently located, there's plenty to see within a 15 minute walk, and a multi-level shopping center just across the street is ideal to grab whatever you might need. The room was good sized, comfortable, and reasonably priced. Andrea (at the front desk) deserves special recognition for her outstanding efforts, helping with directions and giving very specific/helpful recommendations about the city and all it has to offer. There's plenty to see and do in Bilbao, and this hotel serves as a perfect "base camp" from which to explore!

Very nice hotel in center of the city. Walking distance to shopping, dining, train station, metro, buses stops. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast buffet had a satisfactory selection. Room was on a smaller size but well furnished and bed was very comfortable. We arrived early by bus and the receptionist was able to get us into a room early. Room was small but adequate. The available room was a handicapped room and I can see how it would be adequate for a wheelchair user. Quiet stay
