"This small hotel is perfect in every way. The room was surprisingly spacious relative to Japanese rooms, and the fall foliage from our balcony was lovely. But it was the sweetness of the staff that we will most remember. When an Uber failed to show, the manager came out and hailed a taxi for us. "The property itself is excellent. Clean, you have a kitchen and laundry right in your room and the cost was very attractive. The main gripe is that we had forwarded our luggage from Hakuba and I was first informed that reception was not attended to for 2 hours, then I was informed it was 3 and when we got there, it was 4. I was worried that nobody would be there to receive our luggage. Our luggage did arrive and was locked in the reception are but we were not informed, hence we went 3 days...

"We are a family of 4 and we booked 2 rooms. The service was incredible from start to finish. Aya and Rodrigo go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. There was also a young Japanese man, I forgot his name. He was the sweetest person you will ever meet. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The neighborhood is very quiet and a little bit away from the city, but there are places to eat within walking distance. I would stay here again if we ever came back to Kyoto!"

"I loved staying at this property! It had so many amazing amenities in addition to the onsen like the free late night ramen, all day ice cream, and morning yogurt drinks! There was a wide spread of items at the breakfast buffet for a great price. The tatami mat feature throughout the hotel was also so unique. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would come back to this hotel next time!"

" We had a fantastic stay at the newly opened Hyatt Place Kyoto. 1. Perfect Location – The hotel is in a quiet area with a supermarket and convenience store right next door. Plus, there’s a subway station nearby, making it super easy to get around. 2. Comfortable & Thoughtful Design – The room was compact but well-designed. The lobby has a Nespresso machine, there’s a laundry room, and even a microwave available. 3. Tasty Breakfast – has everything you need, and the food was good. What made our stay extra special was the amazing staff—so friendly and helpful! They gave us great recommendations for local restaurants. A special thanks to Mr. Park and IMATA for their kindness and attention to detail. For the price, this hotel is unbeatable. We’ll definitely stay here again next time"
