"Check in/out was fully self handled but perfectly smooth. There was a kitchenette but it was very hard to actually wash the dishes due to no soap, scrubber, place to dry them, or gunk trap in the sink drain. The shower is set up to dry laundry which works excellently"

"Fantastic apartment-style room. We (2 adults, 2 kids - 8&10) had lots of space. The kitchenette allowed us to make our own beeakfast most days. The hotel had small appliances that we could borrow such as toaster and rice cooker. Laundry on site was quick and efficient. We could not have asked for a better hotel. The location was not ideal in that it was not very close to much of the shopping areas (eg. Nishiki market is about a 15-20 min walk). There is a grocery store across the street as well...

"As a family of 5, our overall stay at Mimaru Kyoto was great. The location was walkable to many areas we wanted to look at during our stay which was convenient and close to bus stops for the sightseeing that was a little further away. The combined washer/dryer in the room was a godsend, I would put it on most nights when we went to bed and wake up to clean dry clothes.
