Great location. The room was very comfortable and everything you could possibly need is provided, including some things you didn't know you needed, like an eye mask that heats up, a bathtub with microbubbles that clean you, pour over coffee , dishes, pajamas, a vanity. I would stay here again.

Though it is a 2-star hotel, the room and amenities provided were excellent! They provided multi adaptor, face masks, hair straightener for the ladies etc and these were very well thought of. A must stay in Kyoto. Hotel is located right on the river in a central area that’s easy to walk to restaurants and shops. They served a traditional Japanese breakfast and even accommodated my vegan diet. The hotel is basic, no amenities, but the room and bathroom were quite large. We had a great experience.

Great location and great service
There are amenities necessary and special (face pack, eye pack) and everything was placed in the right spot!! Green tea and roasted black soybean coffee were great. The hotel is at very convenient location. Only challenge was that it was a bit hard to control the room temperature. It was not necessary to use AC, but the room were getting warm during the night.
