"The property is right next to the JR station, where we can easily walk to the historic site and the long shopping arcade. The property is roomy and has a small dinning table for eating or drinking. The staff were quite friendly and the check in process was simple. "

"The staff at Ryori Ryokan Tsurugata were amazing. They are all so friendly and attentive. The dinner in the room was an amazing experience and the breakfast meal was a great way to start the day. We had a room with our own private garden which provided a great view in the morning as we woke up. This has been my favorite place to stay in Japan and I hope to revisit Kurashiki just to stay at this place again. "

"I'm very happy to have found these apartments in Kurashiki. This is perfect if you are looking for an apartment where you can cook your meals and relax in a home environment. Having the bicycles is very convenient as well. Aya is an excellent host and made sure we had everything we needed. I'll definitely be starting here again. "

"Very good room. Modern and functional, small but didn't feel cramped. The hotel even had a sento (traditional public bath), which was nice. The hotel is located close to many of Kurashiki's attractions, but is ~15 minute walk from Kurashiki station which was slightly inconvenient with luggage, but not a major issue. "Accommodations for five to sleep, but ONLY a small couch for TWO people to sit. No extra stools or chairs. Very uncomfortable to relax. Not even a bath stool in the shower room. "

"The hotel is very close to Kurashiki station and walkable distance to Bikan historical quarters. There are many shops and restaurants nearby shotengai/roofed shopping areas. The room was clean and has basic things you need. The microwave in the room was a nice touch. I bought breakfast at the grocery store next door and warm up my food. Overall, great price and very convenient location. "

"It has a great location which have a bic camera at the first floor of the hotel. Also it is connected with Okayama Station via a underpass. It's great that I can prevent to go out from frozen environment. Also room is larger than staff are helpful as well :)"
