From the moment we stepped inside, we were immersed in the traditional Japanese experience. Removing our shoes at the entrance and walking on the warm tatami-style flooring throughout the hotel added such a calming and cultural touch. Every detail, from the minimalist décor to the soothing ambient music, created a sense of tranquility and respect for tradition. Our room was immaculate and tastefully appointed with Japanese design elements, including sliding doors, futon-style beds, and a beautiful wooden bath area. Despite the traditional aesthetic, the room was fully equipped with all the modern conveniences we needed. The highlight of our stay was the onsen (hot springs). The natural indoor and outdoor baths were an oasis of relaxation after a full day of exploring Kyoto’s temples and shrines. The quiet, serene atmosphere and attention to cleanliness made it a perfect place to unwind. The complimentary noodle service at night was a delightful surprise—a comforting, delicious bowl of ramen that made the evenings feel extra special. The breakfast buffet was also impressive, offering a wide variety of Japanese and Western dishes made with high-quality ingredients. "Great hotel! Easy access to Kyoto Station. It has direct access to a seven eleven. It has just 8 washer/dryers. Clean areas and bedroom and bathroom were spacious! "

"I stayed at Hotel Gracery Kyoto Sanjo and it was absolutely perfect! It’s about a 10–15 minute walk from nearby subway stations, but I honestly didn’t mind at all—because the walk takes you through the Teramachi shopping district. I was enjoying seeing the area that I completely walked past the hotel at first, distracted by restaurants, karaoke spots, kimono rentals, a cat café, and even a samurai museum! The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, and the amenities were excellent. There’s a beauty bar available to all guests with facial cleansers, lotions, razors, toothbrushes—everything you might need. It felt like a thoughtful and luxurious touch. The rooms were clean, cozy, and modern. You use your room key card to activate the electricity and control the lights and AC. The beds were super cushy, and the room even came with bath salts, face masks, and a full pajama set, which reminded me of a ryokan experience! The bathroom layout was impressive: the toilet had its own room, while the bathing area was designed like a mini onsen. There’s a sit-down washing station and a deep-soak tub—I could submerge up to my shoulders, and it was heavenly! Hotel Gracery also practices strong sustainability (SDGs). Full room cleaning is every 3 days, and if you opt in to the eco program, they still provide fresh towels and bottled water as a thank-you. Overall, I absolutely recommend Hotel Gracery Kyoto Sanjo!"

"Super comfortable and clean experience with the Trinity location. Everything worth checking out was very walkable save a few of the larger temples. The in-house restaurant and bar was perfect for what we needed, and the staff was very kind and knowledgeable. This place made us never want to leave kyoto!"
