"I like how this property offered breakfast and a large bath jacuzzi with our stay. What I didn’t like is how there was no key for us to access our room. It felt a bit unsafe knowing we can’t leave our room unless we call the front desk to open it for us. If there was a fire I would be very concerned with getting out of our room. Also it would be nice to not have to report what time we will be coming back to our room every day of our stay."

"It’s our favorite place to stay with family. Our parents are elderly and their room has wheelchair access to bathroom. There are wonderful restaurants in the building and the train station is right outside the entrance. The staff is amazing - they are so helpful and kind. "

"Highly recommended for travelers to stay in Yokohama as there is a shuttle bus from Haneda to the door of hotel. The view from the room is magnificent. Walkable to all the attractions. Mall is behind the hotel with plentiful restaurants and shops. Will definitely go back."

Very convenient

"This hotel is very close to Shin Yokohama JR station. It's super close to the Ramen Museum. And there are tons of convenience stores and restaurants in a couple of blocks. The staff there were very friendly, and the room is spacious, and clean. I enjoyed it a lot."

"As English only speakers we really enjoyed our time at BaliAn even though most of the staff spoke only a small amount of English. They really looked after us, and with the use of Google Translate we managed to get things sorted out very quickly. This is a really lovely hotel, quiet and great to get away from the busy hustle bustle of Tokyo. Be aware that it is about 1km from the train station that takes you directly into Tokyo (Shibuya) but you can get a Uber or a bus there quite easily (or walk like we did). Also there is not too much around the hotel itself, so eat dinner in town before you come back (though the yakitori place by the train station is awesome!). The hotel provides a load of free stuff to use, including foot baths, fish pedicure, massage chairs, a self-serve free bar, etc., etc. I would highly recommend staying here if you want a calm peaceful place to relax."
