"The main room was good. Great views and plenty of space to relax. The letdown was the bathroom. It was tiny with very dated fittings and nowhere to put toiletries. It was also at a higher level meaning a really big step down into the main room which was potentially a safety risk."

"Amazing stay in a beautiful and modern japanese style hotel. Everything was in brand new condition and extremely clean. I regret that there was no curtains in the room. The access is quite good if you take the busses down the road. Close to both Nara and Osaka by train. "

"This is the best Hostel to book on any budget. Since it is also a cafe the interior is upper nice and modern looking. As in the name, the interior is all made of wood and has that amazing wood smell that makes you feel so welcomed and at peace. "We enjoyed the ryokan very much for the authenticity of old Japan. The dinner and breakfast were outstanding. Wearing the yutaka at the property was such a thrill for us. The staff were so friendly, kind and attentive. Thank you for your hospitality. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Such a contrast from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo and Osaka central. "Finding and checking in was easy. JR station close by. Quiet neighbourhood. Beds were comfortable and shower was great. The children enjoyed the traditional style and sleeping with the floor mats. Internet was not good. Wifi was very slow and difficult for even basic surfing. Used my data roaming instead."

"Not only was the property clean, easy to locate, walkable and quiet but the lady who runs the hotel is an absolute sweetheart. The breakfast she made us was better than a lot of the food I was eating at restaurants. I would recommend this stay to anyone. "

"This hotel was very clean. We booked a single bed room and it was itty bitty. We understand this is how most hotels are in Japan, but it was still a shock. Bathroom was comfortable and pristine. It was pretty conveniently located and we could easily walk to the train and bus stations."
