"The hotel was clean and well furnished. We had a balcony room which had fabulous view of the river, a great place for watching nature around you. It was very peaceful. The pool area is good with separate pool for toddlers. This also overlooks the river. The staff were excellent. All polite and helpful which you find a lot in Sri Lanka. "Great little property. Staff is really nice. I mean really nice. Pool was decent. Location is a little secluded and quiet, but you can get to town in less than 10 mins in car. Don't use tuk tuks. It's challenge for them to climb the hills. Not a new facility but its maintained pretty well."

"It is my second stay at Galavilla. I love this place so much. I was happy that the hotel is well developt. I feel as a home. The morning view form the room is realy breathtaking. The hotel is open around 5 years but still everythings is as new.I never see it in another hotels in Sri Lanka. I can recomend everyone who like nature and relax."
