"Stayed as family of 9 on fireworks night.
It was a little too far that we had to drive to the spot to park and walk to the beach to see the fireworks.
Local supermarket is in 1 min drive. Extra parkings right next to the property.
We had a great time. "
"Great family stay during off-peak time. The place was clean staff was attentive to needs. The room was very big for a Japanese family room. Parking easy and kombini within quick walk. Everything was clean and well kept, but a little worn. Would stay here again in a heartbeat"
"Kaiseki dinner food was terrible. The meat was so tough and didn’t have any flavor. All four of us commented during dinner that the food was not good."
"We stay there for 2 nights. For a family of 5, spacious enough for us. It has small kitchen area with microwave, fridge, stove top, pots, plates, bowels and utensils. It also comes with 2 bed (small full size) and 2 futon beds. We stayed on the 11 fl. It has a great view of town, mountain and bay. It’s very closed to Beisia grocery store and Lawson. 30 mins away from Komogawa Sea world. I would definitely come back here to stay when we visit the town again."

8/10 Good
"The onsen spa and views from the hotel room were fantastic! The rooms could use a little improvement. Ours was a non-smoking room, but it had a lingering smoke odor, and the mattresses could use updating. We really enjoyed the use of the electric bikes and loved the little fishing village atmosphere. Staff was very helpful."
"As a foreigner with very little understanding of Japanese, I was pleasantly surprised by how helpful the staff were in communicating with us. The counter staff used voice to text translators to translate their Japanese to English. As we arrived directly from the airport, we were too early to check-in, but Tamura-san was very helpful in telling us about their day bath and buffet lunch package for us to spend the time. The onsen was very clean, and the accommodations were comfortable. Higu-san was exceptionally helpful on our last day, as she went the extra mile to help us call a cab to the Kimitsu highway bus station when our taxi apps failed to get us a booking. She helped us load the luggage on the cab, and even sent us off with a snack! For tourists like me who cannot speak Japanese, their support and kindness was immensely invaluable. Thank you Ooeda Onsen Mongatari (Kimitsu no mori) staff!"

"The room was very specious and had comfortable couch but customer service was not good. They were not friendly and lack of warmness.
Also I was disappointed that There was no grocery stores around the hotel. No souvenir shop.

"The room I received was one of the largest hotel rooms I have ever stayed in. It was a standard room. I realize it was November, the off season, but the rate was very reasonable as well.
The view was amazing night and day. The location of my room allowed me to leave the curtains open 24/7.
To wake up to that view was amazing and the lights at night were equally relaxing.
The room was clean and I wasn't afraid to sit on the furniture. The shower/jacuzzi room was recently renovated and like new.
There were two things I would make mention of.
First, although the room was magnificently large and spacious and very clean throughout, it was showing a lot of wear and tear. Carpet was in need of replacing and a few wall paper seams were peeling, But even though the carpet was worn I could tell it was clean.
Second, I realize I'm the foreigner and I take full responsibility for being illiterate and unable to understand Nihongo. The second morning of my stay there were alarms and bells going off. I was afraid to use the elevator and walked down the eight flights of stairs, after checking first for smoke. Unfortunately no one at the front desk could tell me what was happening.
Yes I would stay again, in fact my wife and I are looking into it."
