"가족여행으로 다녀왔습니다. 산속에 한 채 있는 곳이었는데, 주차장은 숙소와 좀 떨어져 있어서 짐을 지고 날라야 합니다. 숙소는 사진은 매우 므찌게 보입니다만, 들어가보면, 호텔껄갈하는 각생이 듭니다. 바베큐 냄새가 매우 숙성되어 있어서, 체크아웃하고 나온 날도 내 몸에 그 향기가 떠나가시지 않습니다. 참고로 저희 가족은 바베큐를 하지 않았습니다. 석구석구에 나이가 제법 들어보이는 지먼가 단체여행을 온 듯합니다. 샤워실에는 팡이곰이 성장을 하고 계십니다. 돈이 전혀 깝아다는 생각이 머리 속에 가득가득 자리를 잡습니다. 다시 간다면 내가 니 아들입니다. "Not much English spoken (Google translate to the rescue) nor on the menus, first night we went to the dining area but were escorted to the snack bar for some strange reason, WATCH OUT for the stealth “bathing/ hot springs” tax of ¥600 at check-out, even though we didn’t even use the pool or any other facilities (not a word of it when we checked in- hadn’t we been pressed for time to return the car back at Haneda I’d have refused to pay and told them to call the cops but hey…), not even a sachet...

"We had the most wonderful stay from beginning to end! Service was friendly and gracious. The room was beautiful. As was the onsen. And both breakfast and dinner were superb. The front desk alerted the kitchen it was my wife’s birthday the following week and they made us up a lovely little plate of dessert treats to top off our excellent kaiseki.
