"Lovely relaxing stay. We booked the Hanare Karoi luxury twin with its own private open air onsen. It was much needed after all the walking so far this trip, we didn't need to go to the larger public baths on the other levels. They provided a shuttle bus from Ogoto Onsen station. "Hotel is 3mins walk from the train station which was ideal as I was arriving into Omihachiman late at night. The room is clean and spacious. I booked a single room which is just next to the lift but I could not hear noise from they lift lobby. But I could hear the train if it was passing by the track next to the hotel. "Great value for the price. Hotel staff was so helpful even though they couldn’t speak very good English, they tried their best to communicate & accommodate! "There was only one parking space left when I arrived at night time. Driving to the hotel was difficult as it's in a city with narrow roads and lots of people walking around and riding bikes. The staff were polite and spoke English. My room was clean and comfortable with air conditioning. Train station is within walking distance and it takes about 26 min to get to Kyoto station."

"Loved this place. Very welcoming atmosphere and staff. It's located on a cute street with some dining options - the onigiri was Incredible. Back to the hotel! Very cozy and the neighborhood was walkable - big shipping Street on one side and a creek with bars and dining on the other. Would highly recommend this place hotel."
