"Especially in Bath, hotels are very expensive. This hotel was significantly cheaper. Even compared to the (proper) Bailbrook hotel (which will be nicer), I would definitely say it's worth saving the money and come here. It's somewhat dated (I haven't seen a Corby trouser press before, I thought it was a myth!), but for the cash you get a nice bathroom, tea/coffee facilities and a comfy bed. What more do you want for half the price of a 4 star or a Travelodge? On top of this, you get free...

"I loved the older building. Our room was very nice and it had a nice view over looking the garden in the back. We had scheduled 4 nights there but our visit was cut short a day because of a cancelled flight. So we never had a day to sit back and enjoy the lovely facility. We had scheduled long day trips for our 2nd, 3rd and last day there."

"What a lovely place to stay with beautiful views of Bath. Excellent service on arrival, bedroom was modern and comfortable, the only down side was the heating on full blast and had to use the fan all night. Mini fridge to store items such as drinks or snacks was a great addition to the room. Unfortunately, we didn't get to use all the amenities the hotel had to offer such as the bar but we did have breakfast in the morning which was a range of cooked and continental, something for everyone....
