"I had a superb stay, the property was extremely well-equipped. Communication on how to find and pick up keys was very well done, all in all, I would strongly recommend, this made for a far more relaxed stay than hotels which I would usually use for my business trips. "

"This was our second stay at this property and we are fans. It’s a great location for visiting Stratford-Upon-Avon, the theaters there, and the historical sites. The staff is outstanding - they have helped us book car service when we’ve needed it and answer oddball questions when we have those. "Lovely place to stay, room nicely appointed, staff friendly and helpful and set in tranquil location with ample grounds. Restaurant and bar area, including outdoor dining space also very nice and make the most of the old converted water mill building. Did not eat on this occasion but did a few months ago but from what I saw, nothing has changed and it would not disappoint. All in all will definitely return either to stay or just to dine."

"The property was in a great location with easy access to the centre of Stratford Upon Avon. This made finding food during our stay very easy. There is no car parking but the multistorey next door to the property only cost £20 for 3 nights. The room itself was nice and comfortable. However, it did lack a fridge in the room. For the price, this is something we'd have liked to have seen. The room also had quite a few cobwebs hanging from the ceiling. Being an old building, this can be expected,...

"I loved that the hotel had history and still retained so many characteristics from the past. I did not mind the uneven foots but some of the carpets were worn through and a stain on main stair not pleasant. We had dinner it was lovely and a breakfast also very good I think the cooked should include the coffee and only if wanting cereal extra the extra 4 charge to be included. Staff are very friendly and helpful really enjoyed our stay would recommend "

"We’ve stayed here many times before and this was no different. All the staff are always so helpful and friendly. It’s only a short walk to the town, the Avon and the RSC. We love staying the original part of the property where the floors are reassuringly squeaky and wonky…it is Shakespeare country after all."

"The atmosphere and ambience was wonderful in this historic old inn and staff were very friendly. The pub was gret but no food is available because they are no longer running the restaurant. Conveniently located for touring the Cotswolds and Stratford on Avon by car Biggest issie is very poor wifi in rooms except on phones, ipad connectons dropped off as soon as you leave the main pub area "
