"The hotel is in great location and staff were friendly although they were clearly short staffed with no one on the bar at times and only one person on reception at busy times. We had an issue with feather duvets and asked to be changed but were told that no one in housekeeping they had gone home. Someone did change it though whilst we were out. Check in and check out was painful the computer system being clearly slow didn’t help I had booked an access room but didn’t get one - we managed but if...

"We were really disappointed on arrival as the hotel was covered in scaffolding and the entrance looked much more like a 1970s multi-storey carpark than a 4* hotel. The stairs (the lift was out of order), reception area and room were very dated. The soundproofing in the bathroom was non-existent (my wife could hear everything next door). Having said that the beds were comfortable, the staff were friendly and the breakfast was ok."

It's a gorgeous B&B that is obviously well looked after and the owners put a lot of effort into ensuring it's a place for visitors to stay. This was our third time here and we will definitely be staying here again when visiting Stratford again."
