"We stayed here in the Tudor 4 poster room. While some of the reviews mentioned noise in some of the suites, we only heard guests downstairs when we were in the bathroom and then only in the afternoon. It was quiet in the evening / night. It was a great place to stay after a 5,000 mile trip from the Western US and recover from jet lag before going on to meet friends and family elsewhere in the UK. (It’s about a hour from Heathrow). Wonderful stay

"The staff were friendly the food was delicious unfortunately the bathroom had a leak so had to move rooms for night two the the staff could not have been more helpful and went above and beyond to get us another one of there lovely rooms so we had the pleasure of staying in two different rooms both just as wonderful as each other would definitely recommend "

Lovely New Year break.

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It was spotlessly clean, furnished beautifully, everything was there that you could possibly need. There were very special touches in place that made you feel welcome. Fresh milk and orange juice, cereals, an excellent selection of teas and coffee. The bed was comfortable and the whole place was warm and cosy. Trish was so helpful and came to my rescue with a blister plaster. There are lovely walks literally from the doorstep, and a pub nearby which had a good menu and was dog friendly. "
