"Built in the 1850s, this hotel is an excellent choice for enthusiasts of the Victorian era. I stayed in a standard room, which, while lacking any particularly special features, was perfectly functional and well-maintained. "Was great value for money, we took our dog and were in a room at the end of the corridor, great for other guests to avoid any problems. Breakfast provided a perfect start to our days. Will be back!!"

"When we arrived the receptionist was lovely. Booking in was easy and quick. We were given a room on the second floor. On entering the building looked cleaned with no clutter on entry. Quite plainly decorated with white walls and a striped carpet. Our room also looked ok on entering. The room was mostly and well set up.
