"What a beautiful unique place hidden in the North Yorkshire countryside. Run by a lovely lady called Ginny who was so welcoming. She explained everything about the room, facilities and local walks. Loved the honesty shop. Had a great number of things to choose from, from hiking essentials (for sore feet!), to fresh eggs and pies. The room was perfect and very unique. So cosy that we fell asleep on the sofa! Loved waking up to the sound of the sheep, goats and geese. Would highly recommend a...

"Ready at our ETA. Quick access (online check-in, key in door). Owner came to make sure we were OK, answered our questions, told us where he was (next door) in case we had a problem (we didn't). Didn't bother us again. We had the small Dairy Cottage - plenty of room for the two of us - but patio doors straight onto the big garden which the other cottages didn't seem to have. "Loved this place! Only downside was arriving in the dark… there’s no reception and very little lighting so we had to knock on a nearby yurt and fortunately they knew where ours was! That aside, have already recommended to friends. "

"We had a lovely one night stay in the cottage. Great for self catering and enjoyed having stables outside where we could see the horses. Lots of space and a nice log fire to enjoy. The breakfast was delivered to the cottage at our chosen time and was really tasty. "

"We stayed in the grade 2 listed farmhouse in the blue room which was very large and very clean. The bed was very comfortable bathroom & shower were squeaky clean the outside temperature had changed that day due to rain so it was a tad chilly but I’m a northerner so no problem for me. The breakfast selection was amazing including a cooked breakfast The host was very chatty and informative so 5 out of 5 for our stay"

"We had a wonderful week staying in Hindburn cottage at Jan and Duncan's converted farmyard. You're surrounded by greenery and nature and can even say hello to goats, ducks and sheep in the grounds. The accommodation had everything we needed, a full kitchen, decent bed, and instant hot water for the shower. The online guide from Jan and Duncan covered all our questions and had several great ideas for places to eat, visit, and for country walks. Even better, they're truly one of the nicest couples...
