"This was probably the most amazing experience I have ever had! The highlight of my partner and I’s trip to Japan. The staff went above and beyond amazing, the food was the best I have probably ever eaten, and the private onsen and room were perfect. I cannot recommend this unique and perfect experience enough. "Beautiful venue, kind and attentive staff that are very welcoming and friendly. Easy to reserve the private onsen and very good amenities. The food was delicious but if you are a traveler with food allergies i would recommend confirming with the staff before and during your stay. They will accommodate your needs, however, we had to remind the staff of my partners food allergies a few times as the menu did not initially follow the food restrictions. "The whole experience was excellent. All the staff were attentive and available at all times. The amenities (especially the in-room hot spring) were excellent. The in-room dinner experience was a highlight and the hotel was able to cater to our dietary needs in a creative and tasty way. I would return again in the future. "

"Wonderful hakone onsen experience! My only complaint would be that some areas seemed to need a little updating. But other than that the rooms were very spacious and there were a lot of amenities included in the cost of the room."

"Out of the way but still very worth it. I loved the traditional vibes the whole onsen had. Private Onsen is magical. Dinner was amazing. Got an on site massage. It was very good, might not be for everyone as their massaging pressure is hard. Perfect for me though since I was walking all over Japan."

"There were four friends staying for 3 nights in Japanese style rooms and restaurant. We soon learned that sitting on rice mats for 1.5 hour dinner wasn’t suited to our old Western bones so for remaking 2 days we ate Western table and chairs and asked for additional futons for bedding.
