"The gentleman who checked me in at the front desk, was extremely friendly and went above and beyond. The property was beautiful as well as the spa and indoor swimming pool. The gym was very modern and very user-friendly. I opted for a room upgrade in which the luxury features were well worth it. This boutique hotel was excellent and I recommend everyone to stay there, one of the best in the area! I’ve already booked to stay again in January"

"Don't hesitate to book this hotel in Nob Hill. Great location and close to all public transportation. We stayed for 2 nights and the staff was super friendly. The bed super comfy and the shower pressure was amazing!! The area around the hotel was decent too. Nobody bothered us at all. My gf and I felt safe. Sure the walls are a bit thin but the price and location can't be beat. Heading back to SF in a few months and this will be our hotel of choice. "

"The Monte Cristo Bed & Breakfast is a gem!! It reminded me so much of my European travels. The building is unique and pleasing. Jack is very helpful and kind. The property is within walking distance of many food venues. We were able to park, easily, near the Monte. Make sure you pay attention to street parking signs. Fabulous sweet treats are put out for your enjoyment, including chocolate, cookies & tea. Don’t miss the hot, made to order breakfast. I will definitely stay at the Monte again in the future."
