"The standard of a Ritz hotel was no met in my opinion. Simple things like free wifi are a convenience that should not be an additional charge to a customer in an executive suite. The staff was excellent and welcoming. The outside area was not a safe feeling. Many vagrants that gave the impression of a city in decline. I loved the food and culture of the city. Although my expectations of a Ritz experience was not met. "

"I have previously stayed at this property and had an excellent experience. Unfortunately this time around the property looked worn, hallway carpet was in horrid condition, bathroom door had bad water damage along the bottom and the beds were doubles not queens and not very comfortable. Disappointed since its location makes it a great option and the property is a beautiful French quarter building. Hopefully they will invest some and do some upkeep soon."

"Hotel Monteleone is a beautiful, historic hotel conveniently located in the French Quarter. We were able to walk everywhere, while also stopping back at the hotel throughout the day to drop off our shopping treasures or just take a break from the humidity.
