"Perfect for my needs during business trip. Occupants of bunk bed rooms across the hall were noisy and hung out in the hallways, but we’re not heard when they had the courtesy to go inside their rooms. At check in, desk agents were unfriendly. But check-out agent was wonderful. Left an item behind, and it was easy to pick it up. This is the neighborhood I lived in for 18 years, and this is the first hotel that felt like home. I have three other stays booked here now."

"The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The location was close to transportation and many places to eat. The rooms were a bit dated. The air conditioner did not work. The bedding could also use an upgrade. However, despite the issues I would stay at the Fitzpatrick again."

It's very minimalist and if I was planning to spend more time in my room, I'd go elsewhere, but exactly what I need when I'm in the city to see shows and check out some exhibitions. "Perfectly fine, clean hotel close to Grand Central. Good value for the money, large room (by NYC standards). Felt comfortable for a family of four in a room with two queen sized bed. The kitchenette our room had an ice maker in the fridge--which was an unexpected but nice thing to have in a hotel room. Plenty of restaurants and amenities near by for all needs."
