"2 days here were enough for us to feel relaxed and enjoy the surroundings. The staff were excellent and food was good with a wide variety. As we were hoping to do bird photography and didn’t see many birds amongst the tall trees so we were a little disappointed. "I booked this hotel on a whim after reading the reviews and wanting to pamper myself on my vacation to India. I was traveling there with another friend of mine. "This place was just ok for a hotel in India. It’s so far up a mountain that access to outside food and drivers are slim, so you are at the hotel’s mercy for pretty much anything. The balcony was nice and so was the view. No ac in this hotel, and no mosquito nets. There was a really old plug in fan in the room though and it didn’t really fit well with the rest of the room. "The property is very good, nice ambiance. The rooms were pretty good with all facilities. Maintenance of swimming pool was average. Food was good. The biggest drawback was the expectation that we will have good mountain view but was disappointed due to lot of trees around the property which blocks the views. "Breathtaking, warm welcome, truly a place to visit. When you get here they welcome you like family the 1st view is magical. Seeing the mountains, towns, tea plants. The rooms are clean, bed soft, bathroom clean, shower is heavenly, balcony view pristine plenty of space in the room. Breakfast and dinner was a buffet of course you can order what you like as well.
