"It is a longer walk to the town, but you have convenience of free breakfast and dinner dining on the property. I loved that it was the closet to the Cloud Forest - we walked to the ticket window! Wonderful garden views from our room. Very peaceful. Staff was very helpful in booking tours for us. "

"Key card was only activated for two night stay by mistake and we got back from a long hike to not be able to access our room and reception was not manned. It was soon sorted but a bit of a pain. A bit of a lack of plug sockets but just adequate. "

"El Sol is such a beautiful property and our room was incredible! We've never stayed anywhere like this before. The views are breathtaking and the service is impeccable. Sian took great care of us, booking our excursions, coordinating our meals, and answering all of our questions about the area. The food there was some of the best that we had in Costa Rica! "Our family of 6 loved our stay at Hotel de Cabañas Valle Campanas. We stayed in the two story family cabin. Check-in was very informative and we were led directly to our cabin. The cabin had plenty of space. The grounds were quite beautiful. Our kids loved the dog. We drove a large SUV which made backing out of the parking space at our cabin a bit tricky.
