"Lovely hotel and really can’t fault it. Staff very helpful and friendly. Room very clean and comfortable and a variety of soft/hot drinks and snacks available at no extra cost. We didn’t have breakfast there so can’t comment on that. Ate in the restaurant one night and had a great meal - again staff very attentive and friendly. Close to the centre, shops and river. Only word of warning would be do not park at their recommended car park in Pepper Street, it’s a dreadful car park with tiny spaces...

"We booked a Superior Deluxe Room. Our room #119 was spacious. The only negative on this room was the carpet, which needed a good cleaning. "We weren’t informed before arrival that there was on-going maintenance in the reception area. A temporary reception was located in the building next door & if it wasn’t for a note on the entrance door then we wouldn’t have known. Booked a ‘comfortable double room’ & it clearly stated 1x double bed; I got 2x single beds (see photos for more). I wasn’t impressed with the bathroom door, it was translucent, anybody the other side of the door could clearly see in. There was no privacy- no lock on...

"This hotel was value for money when visiting family. Checked in just after 2, took a while for anyone to come to reception but it was quick once they came. Spent the day with family and upon return we went to get a drink in the bar, it was only 7.50pm and the staff told us the bar was already cleaned down and cashed up, the info sheet in the room said it shut at 10pm! Apparently the staff told us they do this on quiet nights so they can help with functions but from what we saw they went and sat...

The room looked to be clean on anrrival but around the edges was full of dust and the bathroom again just needed that little extra touch. Check in was easy and friendly. Bonus was free parking.
