"Very clean, decent sized room and very comfy king sized bed. Unfortunately when dropping bags before check in we were not told that booking the shuttle to JFK in advance was required so we had to pay for an Uber. In the bar area customers appeared to be providing their own liquor which I'm not sure is permitted. Would still recommend for good value."

"The property is lovely, and well designed. Rooms are spacious with high ceilings and marble bathroom counters. My room was extremely comfortable. I have had neck fusion surgery, and needed firmer pillows. 2 perfect pillows arrived within 10 minutes. Breakfasts are not what im used to... which isnt a bad thing. I generally have a protein shake in the morning. At the Opera House they offer a wide selection of pastries, excellent coffee, several juice selections and eggs. All very tasty. I can only say that ive already booked my next stay!"

"The hotel is basic, but it gets the basics right. Very affordable hotel in NYC with great access to public transit. As long as you’re not expecting the Ritz Carlton, you will be fine."
