"Didn’t tell you you had to make the room up and take down until after you book room. East just a pain to do after a full day of traveling. Our bed didn’t have right size sheets or blankets. So may do with using small sheets and blankets. Food at the pub was some of the best we have had. Very good service and ambiance "

"My wife and I stayed here while on a three day tour and was a 10 minute walk from the coach drop off point in town. The owners messaged us access details the morning of the day we were to check in. Rooms are locked by a secure code and so is the front door. The room was very neat and cozy, and spotless. The area is quiet and there is minimal vehicle traffic in the morning and at night. "Had 2 lovely nights here great food at the waterside restaurant. Fish and chips highly recommended. Tap room and selection of Whisky unbelievable can easily get carried away . The Craft beer is excellent especially the Forrest Dweller . "

"Completely coloured by the fact that the hotel is being refurbished so there is no reception and 100mm of snow making parking hazardous. otherwise found the lodge open and wow what a room. Pine walling all amenities, loved it. Should come again, May and June."
