"We had a wonderful experience whilst staying at the Penaeldroch Manor. Mike and Carie were wonderful hosts and made us feel very welcome. The apartment was clean and spacious and had wonderful views of the river Lledr. The locally sourced morning breakfast was fantastic and set up for the rest of the day. "We enjoyed our 1 night stay at Tyn-y-Coed - the location is excellent for walking from the doorstep and the parking is great. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and had good storage. The addition of a drying line in the bathroom is a super idea. We loved the styling of decor in reception and the bar/restaurant and enjoyed the Snowdon Lager on draught. We look forward to visiting again. "

"Great stay! Could t fault the accommodation at all! 5 min drive from zip world, host left some extras for us, tea coffee sugar milk bottle of bubbly and some chocolates and shortbread! "An excellent 2 night stay in a single room in the Gwydyr Hotel, Betws-Y-Coed. My room was comfortable and clean as was the bathroom. We were a party of 7 plus a dog celebrating a 50th Birthday. "A last min booking for new years eve! I booked a family room for myself , Hubby and 7 year old son. The day arrived and the weather forecast was awful and nearly stopped our visit however after prompt, helpful communication from Regan we decided to try and brave the travel. "A delightful hotel, at once both old-fashioned and modern. A very pleasant Reception and an excellent restaurant for both dinner and breakfast. Slept well in a very comfortable room - (although I would have liked one 'soft' pillow). And all in all the hotel was central to a very pleasant weekend."

"We had a great 3 days staying at Snowdonia Mountain Lodge. The location is beautiful, perfect for walking and exploring. Ned was really helpful and friendly and made us feel very welcome. The family room was comfortable and had everything we needed, we also had use of the communal lounge and kitchen which was well equipped and we used for breakfast. We’d definitely come back!"

"I stayed at The Dragon for 5 nights in October 2024 and was fully satisfied with the accommodations. The room was much better than expected, fairly large, very clean and comfy. The curtains could be a little thicker as I like a very dark room but it wasn't an issue given the time of year. The bathroom had good water pressure and plentiful hot water. The Wi-Fi was great and was nice to have a decent TV, too. The bed was a real gem - I had stayed in a dozen or so dif places in this extended vacation before getting to Betws-Y-Coed and this bed was for sure the best or second best I had slept in. I would stay here again if back in the area."
