"Arrived at the property and called to check in. Was told that property was closed for refurbishment and I had to go to a different property managed by them 15 minutes away. Got there and room was minimal and bare. Host was nice but it wasn’t an aparthotel as the original one was advertised as. I left and booked a night at a local Travelodge instead. "

"I needed immediate help when the sat sav dumped me nearby & my host talked me all the way to the front door which was a huge relief. "Beautiful cottage in a fantastic, friendly village. It had everything we needed and was located close enough to the places we wanted to visit. Good local walks and a really nice pub over the road. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if we are in the area."

"Some of the basics were not provided on our stay so really wasn't worth the money. Communication - didn't receive the check-in details by email as instructions said. The day before the stay I tried to contact the host multiple ways, including Hotels.com support x 2, with no luck. Eventually on the day of the stay I was told I would get the information at 12pm. "Bit of miscommunication between reception desk and restaurant. We asked at reception what time Breakfast was open the following morning for the August Bank Holiday Monday as we needs to set off early. We were told 6.30am so planned around that only to be told next morning at the restaurant it was 7.30am which messed up our travel plans. "

Parking facility for ev, pre-bookable in advance was very convenient. Would definitely recommend and will stay again when in Ashford. Also, short walking distance to town centre and across the road from train station with service directly into London"

The Falstaff Hotel

"We got to the hotel early so that we could look around Canterbury. Parking at the hotel is via an App,(it was not like that last time we stayed), being Old it took us over half an hour to pay for the parking, bare that in mind if you are old and not OK with modern Apps and you don't have a smart phone the telephone numbers on the "Ringo notice board do not help with paying for parking", basically a nightmare. Hotel was fantastic, clean, bed was comfortable and the breakfast was amazing in the morning was great, continental or full English. At the end of the Car Park is a "Wetherspoons" so the evening meal was excellent:- 2 Fish, Chips and Peas, a Pint of Cider and a Brandy and coke £23.50 all in. All in all we had a lovely time at the Falstaff, Canterbury."
