"I liked how the property had a huge historical background. I also liked how it was a short walk to many shops and restraunts. The stairs only was a little tough, and the shower had some water pressure issues but it was expected for an old building."

"One of the prettiest resorts on the island! The suites are well laid-out and the nearby hiking path to the tide pools is great! Staff was very helpful. On the downside, the location is isolated and Carambola's dining choices are overpriced and not very good. Their food is average at best. There should be a poolside bar/restaurant for small bites and drinks, at affordable rates. "Beautiful location on the beach Physical maintenance needs some work, multiple broken light fixtures, internal, and external. No lights at night up the walkway to the room you had to use your phone or a flashlight to not fall. Cracked broken tile ant entrance to the room !! nice place just really needs a good maintenance support."

"Manager and staff are friendly and helpful. Great room: nice decor, comfortable bed and linens, nice kitchenette. Could hear street activities but 10p quiet time respected by those outside and inside hotel. They even have a community kitchen w/ a full size oven and stove top, sink, microwave, and full size fridge. They had utensils, pans, and a dish drainer and dust soap, herbs, salt/pepper. "Great historic building that has kept its character, unlike some places on St. Croix that look historic outside but have been stripped and hollowed out inside. It makes for quirky rooms, slightly strange steps and narrower passages than today's standards. But nothing dangerous to the reasonably fit. Clean. Along the waterfront. I would recommend and stay again. "

Convenient Location

"Great hotel with updated and clean amenities. Close walking to everything. Coffee shop downstairs and breakfast/lunch restaurant was great. New dinner restaurant was also great. Pool was nice and private in the court yard. Loved the Peacock Room and relaxing in their before heading upstairs/elevator to our room!"
