"Loved the views and we were treated to fireworks from the boat parade in Christiansted. Although we were VIP, we didn’t have champagne in our room when we arrived. When we asked the front desk and showed our Expedia VIP reference, they said they had to check their hotel files first. They later confirmed and delivered it to our room. "I have been coming to The Cottages for 10 years, and it feels like a warm hug every time I visit. What could be better than waking up and walking out your cottage door, and the ocean is in front of you!! "I’ve stayed at this location before and you can’t beat the location. It’s just the sound of the waves and it’s right outside your door. The maintenance of the landscaping could be better. I know that there has been more rain than usual but this shouldn’t be an excuse. The parking area was also overgrown and could use better security lighting. Recommend!

"We had a quick one night stay before our rental was ready. You cannot beat the location, our room was beautiful and updated. Access to room required carrying suitcases up a not-so-short flight of stairs, not a problem for us yet be aware. Free parking on street and $25 parking fee to use the hotels lot which is accessed by an one car alley easy to miss as you drive by but it's there. A rooster 'owns' the alley and made sure we were aware of him that morning ;-) Staff was very friendly and welcoming and we were greeted with a welcome cocktail! Room had mini fridge and a small microwave. No coffee pot in room yet great coffee shop/bakery just down stairs had all thst we could want."

"Victoria House is a boutique hotel in downtown Frederiksted, right across from the water. The hotel is eclectic, beautiful and relaxing and it felt like home. Each room is special and welcoming. There is a small wading pool surrounded by nice pool chairs and tables. On site there is a bar called Ruff Night, run by a dog rescue and adoption group. Some days puppies are there! There is also a restaurant on site, separate from the hotel, but so convenient. “Flyers” has amazing food cooked by Chef Joe Smith who had such a good menu I ate there four times! I can’t say enough about Brian, the manager of the hotel. Before I even arrived, we corresponded and he had introduced me to a couple of local people who could help me with my ancestry mission. He made me feel like family. I can’t wait to go back! "
