Excellent stay. The speciality dining was great. I didn’t like the fact only VIP members were given access to Premium Liquor. The price of the stay was too high to not allow all patrons access.

The property is smaller than what I expected but had exactly what we needed for a Christmas getaway. The beach was awesome, the pools were great. It could be difficult to get a chair near the pool if you aren’t up and out early. We did have a few days of rain which was a bummer and honestly there wasn’t much to do. There aren’t a lot of places to sit and people watch with a cocktail and they only have two indoor bars and one doesn’t open till evening. There wasn’t a lot of night life but the food was excellent and our room was very clean!

The check in process for this resort was awful. After having an unforeseen delayed travel day we were taken to the "5th Floor Club" like it was something special. The attendant then took our passports and disappeared for over half an hour--big red flag. All we wanted to do was get check in, go to our room, and get situated. After an hour they finally got us checked in. Hands down worst check in experience ever. They need to make this better. Overall, a nice place however. Would be nice to have a lunch buffet like they have at breakfast for ease.

Food is good for the most part. Limited seating available on pools unless you pay for a cabana or bed. Service was absolutely terrible although. Restaurant waits for dinner are 2 hours long. We waited almost 3 hours the first night. Employees do not want to work. Coffee shop every morning said their "latte machine is down" but after the breakfast rush around 12 all the sudden it works perfectly fine. Every morning we went and asked for a latte and we received the same excuse. Barista would unplug the machine acting like it is not working. We have been coming to Mexico for 6 years in a row and this is the worst resort. Will not be returning or recommending to any of my friends or customers.
