"The Place was a comfortable stay for my husband and I. As other reviews mentioned, there are no lifts in this hotel, so pack lightly! Our room was large and comfortable. If this is your first time, keep your keycard in the slot by the door to "power" the room. Every plug has a switch, including the TV. The Place is close to a lot of great eats and shopping, but we chose this specifically because it was close to the Edinburgh Bus Station to catch our 7:45am 1-day bus trip with Rabbie's Tours....

"Location was great. Room was a bit small for a family of four and could have been cleaned a little better (a few stains on couch and unknown substance splattered on the wall). Staff was outstanding and probably the best part of the entire hotel. They were knowledgeable and so kind. Overall a decent stay. "

"Great for food in the evening because you are close to local shops and cafes/ restaurants also subway stop. Windows don’t open. So much dust on radiators and sink dirty. Bad smell in room. Parking is based on first come based only. Reception man upon arrival was fantastic extremely nice and helpful. Night lady with short light hair on reception was very rude and snappy. Terrance used for smokers - most often harsh substances that you can really smell. "

"The staff is great!The hotel is nice,within a 15’ walk from the train station.With luggage is a little bit difficult due to the Glasgow streets(I didn’t do very well my “homework “regarding this:)which I didn’t know were so San Francisco like:)))"
