"Convenient for Machu Picchu train and bus. Large room with clean and basic bathroom. Decent breakfast with very friendly staff. We arrived an hour before check-in and were told that dropping our bags in the room would cost us $10. Empty rooms were available because we got one after a lengthy discussion — we were already paying for another Casa Andina in Cusco. This seemed unnecessarily greedy of the company. Especially, since the price of the room was already high for middle of the week...

I stayed at the Bayview ten years ago when it was a nicer place, I guess the pandemic deteriorated business. The attention paid to the customers, however, hasn’t changed a bit. "Even though the hotels.com website says check-in at noon, the hotel told me check-in was at 3pm. They did get the room ready earlier though. Note that the complimentary airport shuttle doesn't work on weekends!"

"A lovely hotel. Our room overlooked the river and was quiet while being a one minute walk (if that) to the action. The staff was great and took our bags to the train station and met us 30 minutes before departure. I highly recommend!"
