We were initially put in a suite very close to the state highway from which there was a lot of noise but the lady at reception was very helpful and moved us to another suite as soon as one became available. "We liked Alexander Inn/the Newmarket area so much we cancelled our stay in the city center to stay here. They were very accommodating, storing our luggage and allowing us to leave our car in their garage after checkout while we went to get breakfast. Everyone was very kind, the rooms were nice, we LOVED all of their little plants, and there was lots of great things to do within walking distance. If I come back to Auckland, I'll be staying here again."
