"The renovations for this hotel were a great surprise! I loved the easy-to-clean flooring (no carpet) in the rooms! The room was clean which is my #1 concern. I loved that we could do a 1-night stay as our schedule didn’t allow for more. It was a convenient drive to Gunstock and the kids loved the indoor pool and hot tub. The woman who worked at the front desk was such a sweet and welcoming person! She was very accommodating and friendly!"

"We really like the convenient location in Portsmouth, easy to walk to restaurants, shops and entertainment. Staff are friendly and helpful, and rooms are very clean and comfortable. Valet service was quick and easy. Unfortunately there was/is an extensive renovation underway (which we'd not been advised of beforehand) which closed the lobby, pool, gym and restaurant. "The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean and spacious. We were surprised that there wasn't really any seating in the room, just a single arm chair. We were staying over after a wedding, so it wasn't a big deal, but it would have been difficult working on a laptop in there. Over all, we were satisfied with our stay. "
