"Stayed for just one night with our kids. Parking was convenient and I thought the rate we got with our room was ok for Wellington CBD. Lift system a bit confusing, there are different sets going to different floors, the signage for this could be a bit more prominent. Our room fittings were nice overall but there definitely still needs to be upgrades done, there was a huge crack in the plaster/paint of our window frame, but didn't affect our stay. Location was super convenient, easy to walk to most of the shops/restaurants, though it was all a bit dead on a weeknight. Highly recommend FRANK's down the road for breakfast or just a coffee, great spot, amazing cheese scones."

"Overall, we had a relaxed and pleasant stay. The staff, especially Sheila, at the front desk, were very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again also because the location is centralized in the CBD to many locations of interest. We so enjoyed being close to the wharf area with its restaurants, museums, shops, and views of the harbor. Staying at the DoubleTree added to the making our first Wellington trip a memorable one."

"Nice airport property. I wondered when booking if we’d hear aircraft taking off and landing, but our room was absolutely quiet despite facing the runways. Checkin was easy and it was so nice to simply walk down the corridor and into the airport the next morning. "

"Absolutely lovely artsy hotel. Quiet and private, except when it got too hot and we needed the windows open to sleep - so did adjacent rooms :-D Not a common situation in Wellington though. Loved all the details in the room and the common areas. The twin beds were super comfy and the bathroom roomy. The hotel is located in a brilliant area for any foodies or those into eclectic shopping, and is an easy walk to multiple transport options, the main traditional shopping areas or the beautiful waterfront. Would absolutely stay again!"
