"Outstanding stay at this resort. My third visit to Waikiki and this was my favourite hotel. I previously stayed at hotels in the Marina area, preferring something a little removed from the chaos of Waikiki, while easily accessible by foot. The neighbourhood is terrific for those who want to escape the hustle & bustle but head into it as they please! Quick walk via the Hilton lagoon. Check in was smooth. We were celebrating our honeymoon and provided a complimentary bottle of Prosecco which was a nice touch! The room was fabulous. Tastefully decorated, spacious, but the real winner was the views! We stayed in the AlaMoana tower on the 16th fooor which was breathtaking. Bed was OK. Bathroom was large. Safe didn’t work but we didn’t complain. Coffee is weak and lousy but made up for by great coffee shop downstairs (I think they do this on purpose!) we used the mini fridge to store snacks and drinks purchased offsite. The pool area was great. Always a lounger available. Some umbrellas would be nice outside of just the private cabana area as it can be hot in full sun. The pool was clean and comfortable (Except when children were in the adults only pool and nobody did anything to correct that, but we’re firm to tell us no outside beverages (coffees from downstairs) on the pool deck - only their food). We enjoyed the live Dj and music on the weekend. All in all for such a large hotel it felt peaceful and we would absolutely stay here again inviting Honolulu. Mahalo! "
