"This is an old hunting lodge type hotel with plenty of old character; displaying stuffed animals, everyday items from yesterday year hanging from the ceilings, walls or perched on windowsills! Each of the 40 plus rooms upstairs were named by European cities as well as numbered. You had an old fashioned key to open & close your room! Our room 'Turku' was a tad stuffy, although there was a ceiling fan or windows to open as an option. Breakfast had a good selection of hot & cold, cereals, pastries...

"3 night stay during the period of the Christmas market. A really comfortable hotel close to the Old Town which proved to be a great location for visiting the city. The room was clean and absolutely perfect for our stay. Breakfast was served in the basement area and offered a good choice of hot or cold items. We were able to transfer easily from the airport at 14 Euros.This hotel represented great value for money for our 3 night stay. Thank you"

"Book a suite to be confortable, expecting seating , minimum to cook in . There was just 1 chair, no microwave. sound isolation between rooms was terrible, could hear the next door guest coughing all night or watching TV. no blind to close windows when it's daylight half of the night and you have a street light in front of the window. "The only good thing about the property was the location in the old town. There were no black out curtains when the sun is only down for 4 hours a day and with it down it’s still extremely light out compared to what we’re used to, the beds were camper beds with a 2” mattress, no fitted sheet, terrible pillows, and no sound proofing.
